Chimney Fire in Croton-on-Hudson

Just before 7pm last night, Millwood FD Tanker 15 was requested with Yorktown Heights FD Tanker 14 and the Ossining FD FASTeam on an automatic mutual aid assignment for a reported chimney fire in Croton-on-Hudson FD's district due to the lack of fire hydrants in the area. Mutual Aid Structure Fire and Training
March 22
At 1:45 yesterday afternoon, Millwood FD Rescue 36 was requested to respond mutual aid to serve as the cascade unit at a working structure fire in Buchanan FD's district. Upon arrival, the crew of Rescue 36 and Car 2253 (Chief Santone) split into 2 groups, 1 dedicated to filling the air bottles of mutual aid crews who were in the structure and the other went into the attic of the structure to open ... A Standby and a Rollover

Yesterday morning, Millwood FD Engine 248 and Car 2252 (Chief McCarthy) covered the Croton-on-Hudson FD fire district with our neighbors from Yorktown Heights FD as Croton-on-Hudson FD members laid 80-year member John J. Giglio to rest. Millwood FD expresses our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Safety Officer Giglio.

First Due Structure Fire
March 08
Just before 10:30am yesterday morning, Millwood FD was dispatched with an engine from Briarcliff Manor FD and a FASTeam from Croton-on-Hudson FD to a reported structure fire on Somerstown Road.
