During our regularly scheduled Tuesday night drill, members of the Girl Scouts of all different ages stopped by Station 1 for "Thank a First Responder Day." During the course of the evening, Girl Scout troops from Chappaqua and Millwood also visited The Chappaqua Fire Department and Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps to show their appreciation for the volunteer service. After a short presentation, the girls were invited to view our apparatus and fire house. We thank these girls for their appreciation and dedication to making the Town of New Castle a better place!
