As many people in town may know, the Millwood "Gong" "Bell" "Railway tire" was a landmark. The bell survived many harsh winters, kids (and adults) of all ages sitting on it and even a few car crashes around the tight bend of Millwood Road. The bell stood tall outside of the Millwood Fire station #1 for over 80 years. In the fall of 2015, we closed the doors of the original fire station #1 and took the bell with us to our new house. This week, the bell was installed and is currently in the process of being refurbished.
