Yesterday before 5pm, Millwood FD, Yorktown Heights Volunteer FD and Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps were dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident through the guardrail on the Taconic State Parkway. Units arrived to find an SUV with the guardrail through the passenger compartment. Yorktown and Millwood members assisted with traffic and hazard mitigation while Yorktown VAC assisted with patients care.
