At 1:30 Tuesday afternoon, Millwood FD was dispatched with Briarcliff Manor Fire Department EMS to a reported motor vehicle accident into the woods with extrication on the Taconic State Parkway southbound. Car 2251 (Chief Rodrigues) arrived on scene and confirmed the vehicle into the woods with extrication needed for the driver. Rescue 36 arrived on scene and utilized the battery operated extrication tools to remove the driver's side door hinges to access the patient. Briarcliff FD EMS transported the patient and all units were back in service within one hour.
