At 2:20pm, members at Station 2 were requested to standby in quarters with Tanker 15 on automatic mutual aid to Yorktown Heights Volunteer FD for a problem with a wood burning stove and smoke filling the residence. Upon dispatch, Tanker 15 was requested to the scene and responded with Car 2251 (Chief Rodrigues) Units arrived on scene and discovered a small fire contained to the stove and mitigated the issue. Units were back in service within 45 minutes. An hour later, Car 2251 requested members with Utility 44 to assist with traffic control for a motor vehicle accident on Croton Dam Road.
