On Saturday morning, Millwood probational members and explorers worked with Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps Junior Corps members to practice vehicle extrication techniques. This drill was designed to show members of both agencies the steps leading up to an extrication, how to properly conduct the extrication and patient removal, and how both agencies work together to achieve the same goal. Members were shown how to properly package patients in extrication and non-extrication scenarios. Thanks to all who participated in this important drill.
