Just before 4pm Monday afternoon, Millwood FD Rescue 36 was requested to assist Mt. Kisco FD at a working structure fire in the Grand Prix complex. Mt. Kisco units originally arrived on scene to find multiple storage rooms in the rear of the structure on fire and close to a gasoline tank, prompting the 10-75 (working fire) assignment. Rescue 36 was requested as the cascade unit on this assignment. Car 2252 (Chief Schwark) and Rescue 36 arrived on scene and assisted with ventilation of the large warehouse-style structure, utilizing portable fans.
