Yesterday evening for our weekly drill, Millwood FD members took advantage of our burn car at Station 2 to practice motor vehicle fire operations. Members practiced apparatus placement, suppression operations and overhaul. Having a stretch of the Taconic State Parkway in our district, we frequently get dispatched to car fires. These skills will be put to great use as summer sets in!
