On Saturday morning, Millwood FD Engine 247 and Car 2253 (Chief Raguso) stood by at Croton FD Station 3 with Sleepy Hollow FD Tower Ladder 38 and Car 2311 while they operated with numerous other departments at a 4th alarm structure fire in the Half Moon Bay Complex.

While on standby, Millwood and Sleepy Hollow units responded to a call in Croton for a contractor who hit a gas line while excavating. Members of Millwood and Sleepy Hollow arrived on scene and stretched a precautionary handline. Members checked residences in the area for gas and found no problems in the other homes.
