On Saturday, October 18th at approximately 4:18PM, the Millwood fire department was dispatched to Saw Mill River Road (Rt 100) and Random Farms Road for a motor vehicle accident with extrication. Upon arrival firefighters found a two car motor vehicle accident with one driver pinned inside of the vehicle. Rescue 36 commenced extrication immediately while engine 247 stretched a hose line for fire protection. Within minutes Millwood firefighters were able to extricate the driver from the vehicle and place them over to the care of CVAC. Millwood firefighters were back in service by 5:20 PM.
