At approx. 3:45 AM Sunday, Briarcliff and Millwood FD's were dispatched to a Van off the roadway Taconic North, north of Pleasantville Road. The single occupant was conscious and alert. Struts were used to stabilize the vehicle. A ladder was used to access and stabilize the patient. The back of the drivers seat was then removed with cutters and the patient was removed through the rear of the vehicle after being fully immobilized on a backboard. Transported ALS to WCMC by BMFD Ambulance and the 36 Medic.
