At approx 1515 HRS on Wednesday December 24th, Millwood's LADDER 52 was special called by Battalion 17's John Lembke and Montrose Asst Chief Scott Gilbert (IC) to a structure fire in Montrose Fire District. After a long difficult battle starting at approx 0900 HRS a smaller ladder was needed to get into the driveway and closer to a 200 year old - large balloon frame house - that was heavily damaged by fire with several difficult to reach hot spots. Too dangerous to put FF's inside at this point, Ladder 52's master stream was used for approx 2 HRS to extinguish all remaining fire.

Units: Car 2251, Ladder 52
