At 14:30 HRS on Monday April 6th, Millwood FD was dispatched to a brush fire originally reported to and located by an Ossining PD Officer on Grace Lane, Town of New Castle. On arrival, Car 2251 confirmed approximately 1 acre of land on a moderate slope was involved and the fire was quickly spreading due to gusty winds and dry conditions. 2 lines were stretched and all fire was extinguished and the entire area overhauled without incident.
