At approximately 11AM on Thursday 9/17 Millwood FD and Yorktown FD were dispatched to a report of a 2 car MVA with both vehicles on fire and multiple ejections on the Taconic NB near the district line. Car 2251 arrived to find both vehicles fully involved and all occupants out of the vehicles - apparently not ejected. The first vehicle had pulled over due to mechanical problems and was struck by the second vehicle. There were a total of 6 patients including a toddler. 2 adult patients had moderate injuries and 3 adult patients and the child had minor injuries. The 2 moderates were transported to WCMC and the others to NWHC. Millwood Car 2251 had command, Millwood Car 2253 had fire suppression, Yorktown Car 2532 had EMS unit response, and WCDES Car 12 had patient transport
The fires were extinguished and all patients transported without further incident.
