On Sunday morning, the Millwood Fire Co. #1 participated in Security World's Drive & Dine event. This annual event benefits the Green Beret Foundation. The route of the event went from Mt. Pleasant Town Hall down to the Valhalla Fire Headquarters. We had 3 separate staging areas: Rescue 36 was at the entrance to Station 1 on Route 133, Ladder 52 was on Route 100 at Inningwood Road, and Engine 247 was at the bottom of the hill of Somerstown Road. Moments after the parade passed us, we were called to a fire alarm just down the road.
