Millwood Ladder 52 was dispatched at 1:50am mutual aid to Yorktown for an injured party stuck at the highest point of the bike path bridge superstructure. While Yorktown firefighters performed this very difficult high angle rescue, Millwood firefighters brought a 35ft ground ladder to the scene and assisted. During this time, the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department stood by for Yorktown in case they had any other calls. Units were back in service three hours later.
