Millwood Fire Company is looking for Explorers

Have you ever watched firefighters fight a fire? Have you ever seen fire trucks responding to an emergency scene? Have you ever wondered what it’s like to actually be a part of the excitement? By joining the Millwood Fire Company Explorer Post you will get valuable hands on experience with real firefighters

Explorers are a group of young men and women who are ages 14 to 18 that have an interest in the fire service.

You will attend drills and attend explorer post meetings.

Receive instruction in the proper uses of Company tools and equipment.

March (in uniform) in various parades

Receive training in CPR and First aid.

Assist Firefighters at fire scenes.
