At 4:30 yesterday afternoon, Millwood FD was dispatched with Yorktown Heights Volunteer FD and Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps to the Taconic State Parkway for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries. As Yorktown VAC was handling multiple calls in their district, Briarcliff Manor Fire Department ambulance 53B2 responded. Millwood members arrived on scene and assisted with traffic, initial patient care and hazard mitigation. Units were back in service within an hour.
