Yesterday evening, Millwood members conducted a two-part drill in our stonehouse at Station 2. First, member climbed up a 16ft ladder to the second floor and simulated removing a window, then practiced techniques for entry. Once on the second floor, members conducted annual recertification for our bailout system. Bailout systems are used in dire situations when firefighters and trapped and need to leave a room quickly. Members practiced windowsill and remote bailouts to be prepared for any situation.
