Last Sunday, Millwood Firefighter Doug Lyon and Firefighter Christina Araujo participated in the extrication portion of the Firefighter 2 class at the Westchester County Fire Training Center in Valhalla. Firefighter 2 is a 42-hour class that covers topics such as vehicle extrication, foam operations, coordinated fire attack and more. Commissioner Dan Puszka and Firefighter Bob Correra brought our Rescue 36 to the training center to provide extrication equipment to the class.
