During yesterday’s storm, Millwood members staffed both stations for over 12 hours and responded to more than 14 calls ranging from automatic alarms, CO investigations, trees down and 2 calls back to back for wires down on occupied vehicles. Please be aware of downed wires while walking or driving and assume
that all wires are still live. Please use generators responsibly. Make sure fumes are not drifting back into your residence.
Never refuel a generator while it is running or still hot. Check engine oil levels each time you refuel or periodically if your generator is connected to a permanent fuel source.
