Yesterday evening, the Westchester County Fire Training Center in Valhalla hosted the Firefighter I graduation ceremony for multiple classes of Firefighter I. At this ceremony, 5 new Millwood members graduated to become Probationary Firefighters in Millwood. Firefighter I is the first course that all members are required to take that covers basic skills that all volunteer firefighters will need.

The Millwood Fire Co. #1 and Fire District would like to congratulate Liz Raguso, Ryan Flanagan, Scott Stein, Daniel Merkel and Rudy Gualtiere for completing this milestone in their volunteer fire service careers! We look forward to having our new probationary firefighters join us when the alarm goes off.
