Busy Day for the Millwood Volunteers!

Yesterday was a busy day for the Millwood volunteers!

Beginning at 10am, Ladder 52 and Car 2252 (Chief Rodrigues) were requested to respond mutual aid to The Chappaqua Fire Department for high CO readings in a home. After investigation, this was found to be due to construction.

At 12pm, Millwood responded with Briarcliff Manor Fire Department and EMS with Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps 36M1 to the Taconic State Parkway for a motor vehicle accident into the rear of a parked DOT truck. Car 2251 (Chief Raguso), 2252 (Chief Rodrigues), Engine 247 and Rescue 36 responded to this incident.

At 4:15, Millwood volunteers responded to a motor vehicle accident into a pole on Route 100 with Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Westchester EMS 45M1. Car 2251 (Chief Raguso), 2252 (Chief Rodrigues), 2253 (Chief McCarthy), Engine 247 and Rescue 36 responded and assisted with traffic control, scene cleanup and patient packaging.

Finally, at 11:10pm, Millwood was requested to respond to the Taconic State Parkway just north of Route 100 for a motor vehicle accident with a deer. Car 2251 (Chief Raguso), Car 2252 (Chief Rodrigues), Engine 247, Engine 248 and Rescue 36 responded to this incident.
