Just before 1am Tuesday morning, Millwood Ladder 52 was requested mutual aid for a working structure fire in the Chappaqua Fire Department district. Car 2251 (Chief Raguso), 2253 (Chief McCarthy) and Ladder 52 with a full crew responded soon after dispatch. Millwood members assisted with opening up walls and ceilings on the D-side of the structure and helped operate a hoseline. Members operated with members of Chappaqua Fire Department, Thornwood Fire Department, Mt. Kisco Fire Department, and Pleasantville Fire Department for over 2 hours before returning to service.
