As we prepare for over a foot of snow, it's important to remember basic winter storm fire safety tips such as ensuring that your generator exhaust is outdoors facing outward, clear snow and ice from your driveway and walkways, and make sure your house number is visible. But don't forget about digging out your fire hydrant! Clearing snow from 3 feet around the hydrant on all sides will help us in the event of an emergency.
We urge you to please stay off the roads during the storm to stay safe and allow crews to plow.
