At 7:20 this morning, Millwood FD was dispatched with 45Medic1 and Westchester EMS to a reported motorcycle down on Route 100 by Random Farms. Car 2253 (Chief McCarthy) arrived on scene and found that a motorcyclist struck a deer, causing the rider to fall off his bike. Millwood units shut down Route 100 and mitigated road hazards as the WEMS team packed the patient to go to the hospital. Units were back in service within 45 minutes.
