Just before 6am, Millwood FD was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident with the Chappaqua VAC and Westchester EMS 45Medic1. Car 2253 (Chief McCarthy) arrived at the same time as New Castle PD to find a garbage truck located 30 feet off the road with the driver still inside. Members arrived and assisted with securing the truck, packaging the driver, and removing him from the woods. The driver was transported by CVAC and units were back in service within an hour.
