Just past 1am this morning, Millwood Tanker 15 was requested to assist Yorktown FD at a working fire in the non-hydrant area of their district. Car 2253 (Chief McCarthy) and Tanker 15 responded shortly after dispatch and assisted members from Yorktown FD, Mohegan Lake FD, Croton FD, Somers FD, and Mahopac FD. Tanker 15 backed down a very long driveway to provide water to Yorktown and Mohegan Lake units. Members helped with water supply, stretching a handline to the basement, and opened the walls of the boiler room after noticing signs of extension. Units were back in service within 2 hours.
