Just before 12:30 on Tuesday afternoon, Millwood Ladder 52 was dispatched automatic mutual aid with Chappaqua FD to a reported structure fire in the Hardscrabble Lake development. While Car 2252 (Chief Rodrigues) and Ladder 52 were responding, Chappaqua FD units arrived on scene and confirmed a fire in the boiler room, transmitting the 10-75 (working fire) assignment. This brought Millwood Tanker 15 to the scene, as well as Pleasantville FD Tower Ladder 5, Briarcliff Manor FD Engine 94, Pocantico Hills FD Tanker 12, Mt. Kisco FD FASTeam, Chappaqua VAC, Pleasantville VAC Rehab, and Westchester EMS 37Medic1. Ladder 52's crew assisted with extinguishment and overhaul, while Tanker 15 was returned to service with the rest of the responding mutual aid assignment shortly after arriving on scene. Car 2252 and Ladder 52 returned to service after 2 hours.
