Just before 3:30 yesterday afternoon, Millwood FD was dispatched with Ossining VAC and Westchester EMS 45Medic1 to a reported rollover on the Taconic State Parkway northbound. Car 2252 (Chief Rodrigues) and Car 2253 (Chief McCarthy) arrived first on scene and established a safe working zone with help from the NYS DOT HELP truck and the New York State Police. Members from Engine 248 and Rescue 36 responded and assisted with roadway hazard mitigation and established a safe traffic pattern. Upon the arrival of Ossining VAC 74B1 and WEMS 45M1, the patient was evaluated and refused medical attention. Millwood units were back in service in just over 30 minutes.
