Last night, Millwood FD was proud to host the Westchester County Association of Fire Chiefs, Westchester County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association, and the Westchester County Association of Fire Districts for the first tri-organizational meeting between the organizations with the Westchester County Department of Emergency Services. Westchester County DES Commissioner Richard Wishnie and other members of the DES spoke about infrastructure improvements, including the new radio system, and allowed members of the Westchester firefighting community to share their concerns and ask questions. This meeting provided a great forum to promote continued communication between all organizations.
