Just after 2pm this afternoon, Millwood FD Ladder 52 was requested to respond mutual aid to assist the Briarcliff Manor FD at an active fire on the roof of the Scarborough Train Station. Ladder 52's ladder was used to access the roof and assist with suppression efforts. Briarcliff Manor FD members knocked down the main body of fire just prior to Ladder 52's arrival. Millwood FD and Briarcliff Manor FD members ascending the roof and worked to open the roof to expose hot spots to complete extinguishment while the Croton-on-Hudson FD FASTeam stood by on scene. Millwood FD members were on scene of 1.5 hours before returning to service.
