For this week's Tuesday drill, members had the opportunity to practice skills in all phases of motor vehicle fire response and extinguishment. Members first simulated a motor vehicle fire response on Engine 247, allowing 2 newer drivers to practice apparatus placement. Additional members were able to refine techniques on securing a water source, deploying hoselines, and properly extinguishing the car fire.
