Donations to the Millwood Volunteer Fire Company help the men and women of the department provide the best service possible to you, the citizens of Millwood.

Each year, the Millwood Volunteer Fire Company conducts a Fund Drive. Your donations will be used to recruit and retain members, run public safety events, and help local charities. Your generosity also helps keep the department 100% volunteer and prevents local taxes from rising significantly.

Your donation is critical in allowing us to maintain the highest level of emergency response and readiness for the residents of the Millwood Fire District.

Every member of the Millwood Fire Company is an unpaid volunteer serving our community. Your support keeps it that way.

  • Recruit & Retain Members Funding helps attract new volunteers and keep experienced firefighters equipped and trained.
  • Public Safety Events We run community outreach and fire prevention programs that keep Millwood safe.
  • Support Community Events Your donations provide us with the resources to get involved with the community. From Chappaqua's Community Day to various Touch a Truck days, we take pride in putting smiles on kids' faces whenever we can.
  • Maintain Emergency Readiness Keep apparatus, gear, and facilities at the highest level of operational readiness.

Make a tax deductible donation to show your support of the Millwood Fire Company. Checks can be mailed directly to us during our annual Fund Drive.

Please make checks payable to Millwood Fire Co. No. 1 Inc. and note Fund Drive in the memo line.

Donate a Vehicle for Training

Turn that clunker in your driveway into a lifesaving training tool — and get a tax deduction while you’re at it.

Do you want to get a tax deduction for that clunker sitting in your driveway that you’ve wanted to get rid of? The Millwood Volunteer Fire Department has the answer for you.

The Department’s Training Division is always seeking donated vehicles. The vehicles are used for hands-on, real-world training in rescuing people trapped in vehicles during car accidents.

  • Any Condition Accepted Vehicles can be donated in any condition — running or not.
  • Drop-Off Location Vehicles can be dropped off at Fire Station 2 on Croton Dam Road For information, please contact Assistant Chief Greg Santone at gsantone@millwoodfire.org or donate@millwoodfire.org to learn more.
  • Tax Deductible Your vehicle donation is tax deductible. All that is required is a valid title for the vehicle.
